    Would you kindly point out some of the differences for me?

  2. franksnow79 says:

    If Teddy Roosevelt is your example of a progressive, I don’t see modern progressives lining up on his side on guns, hunting, conservation(as opposed to enviromentalism), English as the national language, approach to foreign policy and the borders, or cultural assimilation(as opposed to diversity and multi-culturalism).

  3. TheFrankFactor says:

    Barack Obama and his advisers are NOT sympathetic to the “Netroots”. They answer to CORPORATE INFLUENCE! The change… the movement has to come from out here!

  4. TheCOOLbigGOV says:

    How did this Arab or Mexican seek into America and landed himself a show to boot?! How?! LOL

  5. normalais says:

    @franksnow79 we don’t have enough redistribution of wealth. When American became #1 in the world the richest 1% of americans had 8-9% of the wealth of American. Just before 1929 and just before 2008 the richest 1% have 23-24% of the wealth of America. Concentration of wealth among few people does not work. Redistribution works, because it builds a strong middle class. And any country is only as strong as its middle class. Which is why were in trouble- conservatives are killing the middle class

    @TheCOOLbigGOV Keep flipping burgers kid.

    CENK needs his own show in his own style/form, maybe even take over Larry King’s show, but with less interruption from commercials. I hate when someone is making a point or the debate gets heated and they cut to a break or move on to another subject, “Well that’s our time, up next puppies in a box you don’t want to miss this” or something along those lines.

    There’s left wing media (MSNBC) and right wing media (fox), but lets face it, they’re ALL anti-American, pro-Zionist, Pro-Globalist, Anti-freedom, Pro-Fear, Pro-War fuckers.

  11. WesSideCali says:

    @erjoalgo Obama did not run on a progressive platform. He ran on a platform of “working across the aisle(cant be far left while doing that),” “Middle Class Tax Cuts(Done),” “hope(which is more of a tagline that platform)” and “changing the tone in washington(which he has done, and successfully change the world view of the US).” Progressives made him a progressive in their own minds. There was more progressive candidates to vote for(McKinney,Nader,Kucinich,Edwards.) Progressicve duped themselves.

  12. Zander73 says:

    @WesSideCali

    uhhhh no you’re dead wrong on that…. his taglines were centrist. but when he described his policies, they were nearly all progressive.

  13. WesSideCali says:

    @Zander73 Post a link(not to a progressive blog).. show me where is overall a progressive. Some of his policies ideas are progressive, but most are/have been moderate. The main problem (besides people claiming “he’s mine) is the fact that people don’t seem to know what progressive means. It means changing to fit the evolving world, most seem to think it always means psudo socialist.

  16. deveousdevil says:

    Cenk looks thinner. ;)

  17. megamarsvin says:

    @pennjersey83 I know a couple of New Yorkers and you’re the first one I’ve heard say that. Mostly they complain about the Post being a sensationalist right wing propaganda rag.

  18. megamarsvin says:

    @Zander73 That’s true but if you’re going to judge presidents on campaign promises then they are, without exception, all giant failures. I kinda agree with Wes, and it’s the main reason I didn’t support Obama at first, if you look at his record he never was a progressive. And after 8 years of Bush god knows we needed one.

  19. Sleck06 says:

    @deveousdevil its the tie

  20. lKorBeNl says:

    Wow Cenks hair looks different and a little slim. Nice.

  21. Hendrix92TheUniverse says:

    Americans are Stupid!

    Republicans are NOT Conservative and Democrats are NOT Liberal.

    Both parties want endless war for profit, Both parties will violate the rights of citizens for the pretense of security against terrorism.

    Both parties endorse illegal immigration.

    Both parties are puppets of the bankers and corporations.

    Both parties do not represent the average American.

    Smaller Govt., Less Tax, More Freedom and Liberty. This is what America should be all about.

    Cenk is doing such a great job… If this results in him getting his own show on MSNBC (Instead of Ed Schultz), I’ll be disappointed because I’ll miss my daily TYT fix, but great for him! He deserves it. TYT without Cenk just wont be the same.

  23. DaHonestAbe says:

    Liberal Bias is nonsense. Matt Lewis is a damned clown.
