Even liberal MSNBC isn’t as conservative as Fox News. Fox News literally spins the news to fit the conservative agenda. MSNBC simply covers positive things about the left and negative things about the right, a biased news network. Fox can’t even be considered a news network starting around 5 pm.

You’re exactly right. That’s why I made it a point in my video not to talk about Fox “News”. It’s the right-wing propaganda machine.
The Teabaggers are the conservative equivalent of the hippies. Repubs may cater to them but they don’t respect them just like dems didn’t respect the hippies. The term liberal media was used by Nixon in 68 and 72 then reagan picked up on it and then bush41. Lee Atwater used it as a way to work the so-called media refs and get them to give bush favorable coverage in 88. Now it’s just a over used.
I agree, the media has been far from liberal and I’d be hard pressed to find an actual example outside MSNBC’s prime time lineup where you can find a liberal. CNN has basically become another Fox, which explains why their ratings suck and Fox is Fox. So cable news now does not have a liberal bias. Also, I’d part ways with Matthews. He only does what will get him the ratings. He said Bush belonged on Mt. Rushmore back in 2005.
Under Clinton it was “Monica, Monica, Monica”. Under Bush it was “Are the Democrats Traitors for criticizing our Commander In Chief in a time of war?” (As well as selling us that same war) Under Obama it’s back to giving any Right Wing Thug with something bad to say about Obama and Democrats as much air time as they want and the lone Democrat on the panel is supposed to respond to the “charges”.

Fantastic commentary, Justin. I would add that it’s not simply conservative slant, but also corporatist slant. If you look at the Tea Parties, for example, they have been propped up and promoted by Freedom Works, a wealthy corporate front group run by corporate lobbyist Dick Army. On the other hand, there was no corporate or conservative backing for the much larger antiwar protests, and those barely received coverage compared to the Tea Party protests.
Another important example is the ACORN story. Two right wing activist punks with a video camera created a propaganda piece pretending they were a pimp and a prostitute getting counseling on illegal acts from ACORN. The media never bothered to verify the details or ask to see the unedited tapes, which tell a very different story. They caved in to pressure from the right and broadcast the story over and over again. ACORN has now closed its doors. (cont’d)
(cont’d) More recently, those same punks were arrested for misrepresenting themselves and tapping into the phone system of a US congressman. Additionally, Atty. Gen. Jerry Brown sued the punks over the ACORN story. An out of court settlement resulted in the unedited tapes being made public. They completely exonerated ACORN and nearly every employee who had appeared guilty in the edited video. Did any of this make the 24/7 news cycle? NO. It hardly registers a blip in the “liberal” media.

Chad, I am lying to everyone here. But I did it on purpose. I changed my age to 19 so that in case videos were falsely flagged, I could still view them and the age limit wouldn’t prevent me from doing so. Now get a life.

We never hear to full unbiased story about ACORN or so many other issues from most of the media.

If you think there is a conservative slant in the news media (except for Fox News) you must be blind, because that is flat out not true. However, the news media is completely bias and will spin any story to get viewers, to raise ratings and to turn profits with little regard to the truth.
For the most part, people who really vote, don’t really watch Fox news or pay much attention to the talking heads on the other networks. Older people and shut in disabled people watch those shows. It’s become their soap opera and in many cases isn’t really believed, it just gets them excited for a minute so they feel alive. Real voters are working, watch network news at night, cruse the internet and in some cases read a paper. That’s exactly why Obama won.
Have you seen the Emails they just found from a group of journalists conspiring how to make Sarah Palin look bad?? or the ones that say ABC needs to stop running stories critisizing your president????
